Maintenance instructions for the animal syringe drencher

Storage:

As with other veterinary equipment, the drencher should be stored in a clean and dry place when not in use, protecting it from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

Disassembly:

Disassemble the drencher regularly to clean all the individual parts. Almost all parts of your drencher are screwable, which makes assembly and disassembly relatively easy. Follow the instructions below for cleaning and lubrication:

Regular cleaning:

Clean the drencher thoroughly after each use. Use warm water and a mild detergent to ensure that all internal and external parts are free of contaminants.

Lubrication:

Apply a food-grade lubricant, preferably olive oil, to the piston and other moving parts to ensure smooth operation and long life of the drencher.

Spare parts:

Check the drencher regularly for signs of wear, damage or corrosion. If possible, replace the new parts (such as nozzle, rubber ring, check valve, etc.) by ordering directly from our webshop. If repair is not possible, it is recommended to order a new drencher:

Training of staff:

Make sure all employees on the farm are trained in the correct use, cleaning and maintenance of the drencher. Proper handling techniques will reduce the risk of damage and extend the operating life of the drencher.
